Anything but Okay by Sarah Darer Littman

In “Anything But Okay”, Sarah Darer Littman explores the emotions and life of a teen girl named Stella after her brother returns from his latest tour as a US Marine in Afghanistan. He is moody and sad, and Stella is terrified. In a way, it almost seems as if Littman is in the mind of a scared teenager. This book covers everything from large social and political issues to mental health and teenage relationships in a smooth, well-written, meaningful story.

This book will be released on October 9, 2018

I loved this addition to The Star-Touched Queen series! I love seeing what happens to the beloved characters after their tales have “ended”, as well as gain insight into what shapes them into the people we meet in each book.~ Bren, 17,

The Frame-Up by Wendy McLeod MacKnight

I enjoyed reading The Frame-Up very much. I could never predict what was going to happen next.  I thought that most of the characters were very interesting, and I liked that the story was different from anything else that I have read.  The story was exciting but there were also some very funny parts. I recommend this book to people who like mysteries without the scary parts. ~ Clara, 10,
